History will Document what happened. These stories will Document how it felt!
שותפים לסיפור | You’re Part of the Story
A global project capturing the lived experiences of Jewish teens and young adults in Israel and around the world.
One day, someone will ask what it was actually like to be Jewish during this moment. These stories are our answer.
What does this moment in Jewish history feel like for you?
זיכרון • תקווה • שייכות • קול
Memory • Hope • Belonging • Voice
History will remember what happened.
Together, we’re documenting what it felt like to live through it.
Jewish teens and young adults, ages 12-29:
Share personal reflections, artwork, poetry, and photography.
You can share something you’ve already created … or make something new.
You don’t need to be a writer or artist. Your experience is enough.
Whether you're a Jewish teen or young adult … religious or secular, living anywhere in the world … your story is part of this generation's story. We welcome submissions in all languages reflecting the diverse voices this project brings together.
Your story belongs here.

The Story Behind the Story
We traveled to Israel to begin implementing a different initiative focused on children impacted by October 7. In the months that followed, we watched the war unfold, antisemitism surge, campuses erupt, friendships and communities strain, and young Jews around the world wrestle with questions of identity, belonging, Israel, and what it meant to be Jewish in this moment.
Then the war with Iran began. During those days in and out of bomb shelters, something shifted.
We realized that while history would remember these events, an entire generation of Jewish teens and young adults was living through this extraordinary chapter in Jewish life without their own voices being preserved.
You’re Part of the Story began with one simple question: What does this moment in Jewish history feel like for you?
Today, that question is connecting voices from Israel and Jewish communities around the world, preserving not just what happened, but what it felt like to live through it.
Follow the Journey
These journals are traveling from community to community, gathering stories, artwork, photographs, questions, memories, and reflections along the way.
If you'd like to follow their journey, sign up to receive updates.
We'll occasionally share updates about where the journals have traveled, selections from anonymous contributions, upcoming storytelling gatherings, and opportunities to become part of the project.
No fundraising appeals. No endless email blasts. Just occasional updates from the road and the growing community helping carry these stories forward.
